About me:


Skincare has always been very important to me, and take very seriously everything I choose to put onto my face. My skin tends to be quite sensitive and reacts to many products in the market, so natural cleansers and creams are my usual go-to.

I'm usually pretty busy day-to-day, so establishing a routine that is simple yet effective is absolutely critical. I don't always get a chance to do my entire 5 step routine each evening, but I try not to be too hard on myself and sometimes just end up cleansing and moisturizing.

What I've learned over the years is that an investment in your skin is an investment in your health and happiness. I believe quality products go a long way and make all the difference.

Step 1: Cleanse

I recently tried Tata Harper and am really loving the products! This cleanser really spreads well, so you don't need to use a lot. I start by washing my face with cold water, then apply 2 drops of cleanser to my hands, and finally rub my hands together to create a lather and cover my entire face and neck. I finish by splashing warm water onto my face to wash away the remaining cleanser.

Step 2: Tone

I don't use toner every evening, probably 3-4x a week. I really like using this toner because of how gentle it is on my skin. I pour a small amount (about the circumference of a ping pong ball) onto a clean cloth or tissue and wipe the toner all over my face, concentrating a bit more on my t-zone.

Step 3: Eye Cream

As I've gotten a bit older, eye cream has become a pretty essential part of my routine. I just put 1-2 drops on my index fingers and rub the eye cream under and around my eyes.

Step 4: Oil

I never used to apply a night oil but have recently started to and all I have to say is WOW! I cannot believe I haven't always used this. This rosehip oil from Trilogy makes my skin feel so supple and buttery, and in the morning when I wake up my face still feels incredible and oh so youthful. I just apply one drop on each side of my face and rub it in all over. This stuff is literally magic!

Step 5: Moisturize

Finally, I apply a light moisturizer all over my face and neck. What's great about this Caudalie moisturizer is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling too greasy. There is also aloe-vera infused in this water gel moisturizer, making my skin feel soothed and rejuvenated after a long day.
