Our commitment to transparency

Ethics, ingredients and sustainability have been at the heart of our ethos since we started out in 2008. Now, we're taking things to the next level with future-defining tech solution, Provenance.
Using 'Proof Points', Provenance connect brand claims on social and environmental impact (like whether a product is Vegan, Certified Organic or uses Widely Recyclable Packaging) to supply chain data and third-party proof. So you'll know which claims are backed up (and how).
Some of your favourite brands, including Pai Skincare, The Nue Co, REN Clean Skincare and Tata Harper have signed up already (with plenty more to come).

How it works

Each Proof Point is a part of the Provenance Framework (a rulebook of 50+ impact claims spanning Climate, Waste, Nature, Workers and Community).
These claims are designed to be as clear as possible, so that you can easily understand the impact of your purchases at a glance.
Click on a Proof Point to look behind each claim, explore how the brand has achieved this and view the evidence they’ve provided to back it up.
For ‘Verified’ Proof Points, (which come with a green tick), you can also see which third-party organisation has verified the claim.
By protecting you from greenwashing and making claims and certifications easier to understand, Proof Points empower you to make purchases that truly match your values. Simple as that.
On top of that, there will still be the classic Naturisimo badges to help you with things like allergen information (i.e. fragrance or gluten-free formulas).
While not powered by Provenance technology, they're there to help you easy access key product information, so you can pick the formula most suitable for your needs.
