No Custom Charges on EU Orders under €150

No Custom Charges on EU Orders under 150

From 1 July 2021, all EU-based orders outside of the UK, with value of EUR 150 or less, are no longer expected to pay custom clearance fees when the order is delivered.

What does this mean?

Customers will be charged the full VAT of the total order value at the checkout.
It means there are no nasty surprises or hidden charges when receiving the order on delivery arrival.

What will the VAT charge be?

The VAT rate applied will be the one applicable to the relevant EU state, where the order is being delivered to.
You can find out more about the EU Member State VAT here.

Will this be applied to everyone?

It will be applicable to all orders that meet the following criteria:
- Order value has to be EUR 150 or below
- The order has to be delivered to EU Member State regions (excluding UK).
- The 150 EUR threshold is exclusive of tax and is only applicable to the value of goods (excluding shipping costs).

Please note, this currently does not apply to Romania, Ireland or Czech Republic based orders, which means customers must pay VAT on all orders over a value of EUR 22.

For more information on the above please get in contact with our Customer Service team at, who will be more than happy to help you further.

What happens if the order is over EUR 150?

Orders over EUR 150 are subject to duties and import VAT, similarly to what has been the case since Jan 1 2021.

Please feel free to get in contact with our Customer Service team at, who will be more than happy to arrange a VAT refund with the relevant documents.

As a business, we are assessing covering all these duties at time of purchase though this is being evaluated still.
