Our filters are designed to make conscious shopping an effortless experience. We want to provide you with as much information as possible so that you can make more informed choices, without the guesswork. From organic certifications to eco-friendly packaging, our aim is to help you find your perfect product with ease.

Filters banner

This refers to products that have been manufactured in Great Britain, making it easier to support local, home-grown brands while helping to reduce the carbon footprint of your purchase.

This filter refers to products that have been certified natural by our preferred, accredited third-party organisations such as COSMOS Natural and NATRUE. These products have been verified as being naturally produced and/or containing ingredients of natural origin. This certification is suitable for products containing ingredients which cannot be certified as organic, such as water, salt or clay.

Two Logos Banner

This filter applies only to products that have been certified organic by our preferred, accredited third-party organisations such as Soil Association, NATRUE and EcoCert. This certification confirms the product has been formulated with an organic portion of natural ingredients from a certified organic production.

Three Logos Banner

This applies to products that are free from synthetic fragrances and/or natural fragrances (e.g. essential oils) that are otherwise only added for their scent. This makes it easier to shop products better suited for more sensitive skin.

This filter refers to products that have been confirmed by the brand to have been formulated without gluten. Designed to make it easier for those with sensitivities to find the products best suited for them, we still recommend a patch test of any product for those with allergy concerns.

This term is generally understood to refer to nanoparticles that are more than 100 nanometers in size. The concern with particles smaller than this size is that they are more easily absorbed by the skin and may therefore harm living tissues within the body. This filter only applies to our sunscreens that contain nanoparticles over 100nm in size.

This filter confirms that the product is suitable for vegans (i.e. the formulation contains no animal-derived ingredients). Additionally, this filter will also highlight products that have been certified vegan by a third-party organisation such as the Vegan Society or PETA.

The Ingredients Banner

To help customers make an informed choice, we disclose the complete ingredient list (INCI) for each product in our website so you know exactly what's inside. There are ingredients we avoid based on scientific research and our expertise. Our Doctor Chemist, a member of the UK Royal Society of Chemistry, advises us in product formulations, artificial chemicals and their potential harmful effects.
