In late 1997, Marj Melchiors founded her company, Earth's Beauty Cosmetics Without Synthetics™, an online store dedicated to searching for and retailing pure mineral make up and cosmetic products from around the world. To meet the the needs of her customers in 1999, she developed the Earth's Beauty™ line of loose powder makeup with minimal ingredients. This line is the first loose powder line that uses arrowroot instead of titanium dioxide as a main ingredient. Using her fine sense of color interpretation, Marj designs all of the colors in the Earth's Beauty™ line.
