The Balance Me range includes Body Creams and Lotions, Body Washes, Body Scrubs, Hair care and Oils and Salves. As with all balance Me products, the Creams & Lotions are blended with pure essential oils to offer you results driven, hydrating and moisturising benefits. With skin-boosting benefits balance Me’s naturally foaming, luxurious cleansing washes optimise your skin’s health, well-being and natural beauty. Buff, exfoliate, hydrate and protect with Balance Me skin brightening and skin-boosting Balms & Polishes. And the final touch to nourish, protect and strengthen your skin is the Balance Me Oils & Salves range, formulated with bespoke aromas blended using pure essential oils. The latest additions to the range are the Balance Me Candles, beautifully packaged and made of 100% natural vegetable wax.
Balance me was created by Rebecca and Clare Hopkins, a reflexologist and yoga teacher respectively. Prior to setting up Balance being Rebecca handled the PR for a number of brands for L'Oreal's Luxury Products Division in the UK and Clare was a strategy management consultant. Sian Jones has joined Balance Me to support the brand on new product development and in the retail sector. Sian is an aromatherapist and retail consultant, having spent many years working for a number of high profile High Street names, and is committed to natural therapies.
Balance Me is proud to be certified by Ecocert and products are minimum 98.7% certified natural with the majority being 100%. Ecocert is an international certification body of natural and organic cosmetics and foods, based in France with a strong presence in 85 countries throughout Europe, America and the Far East. In January 2008 over 500 companies were certified by Ecocert. To gain certification Balance Me has had every single ingredient, formulation, supplier, manufacturing process, storage procedure, packaging element and label approved! It is a complete procedure that covers every part of the business. Each Ecocert certified Balance Me product has the Ecocert logo displayed on the label which means that the product is made up of between 95% and 100% natural ingredients and that a minimum of 50% of the vegetable origin ingredients are organic. It will give the customer confidence in Balance Me’s claim to be a natural, clean, high quality brand.
As well as launching Balance Me, Rebecca and Clare Hopkins are the sister founders of Balance being, a well-being, lifestyle events business. In 2009, Balance Me has been working in partnership with Samaritans and their “Stress Down Day” initiative. So far the charity helped to raise approximately £3,000 through partners and initiatives supported by Balance Me.
