Good but needs improvement
I'm undecided about this product. It has a great coverage but it's a little bit yellow for the lightest colour. I'm the greasiest person I know so the foundation started to separate after half a day, but every foundation I've used does that... It does dry really fast on your face, but it's okay if you use primer first or moisturise. Think it's too thick for heavily greasy skin. Jess, Cornwall
Different shade, different texture...
I have 2 different shades, the pure buff & the pure sand, while the pure sand is almost perfect because it glides on, dries fast and skin is left with an absolute natural and beautiful finish, the pure buff shade is terribly dry, does not glide on to skin, it flakes and leaves an horrible finish, I don't get it... they should be the same, but believe me, they are not, I bought the two of them here at naturisimo and within 1 week apart because the pure sand was too dark, but what a deception, the shade that feets me like a glove is impossible to apply. Tania, Spain
This product is unfortunately too dry & for dry skins couldn't be good. It has a nice lightweight texture and it leaves a very natural skin but it dries pretty fast!! I have the shade 'Pure Buff' and it is a vey light peach colour perfect for fair skin. The coverage is good and I can say medium. I have dry skin and the brush is not the right tool. With the brush this foundation shows the dry patches and the result is awful. So I followed the LN advice about using hands and in fact the result is good. No dry patches at sight!! I have tried the beauty blender too. In my opinion this is the best tool for this foundation. It gives a great coverage and a natural look. Of course, I don't use too much product but just one layer. Once a day I sprying a bit of rose water. Even if this foundation has a few flaws I like it a lot and I will keep on using it for long time because of its green and safe ingredients and because it is the perfect shade for my skin. Emanuela, Switzerland
Looks like my skin with nothing added! Disappointing really as don't see the point of it. I buy a foundation to cover bits of my skin/ even it out, not to look the same. Liv, London
Although this foundation gives good cover, it is very dry & one has to work fast to apply it. Also if you have dry, mature skin, this foundation is by far to drying, despite applying a good moisturiser beforehand. This may be a better product for younger skin. Pat M., Marlow, UK
Not outstanding at all
I agree with last reviewer that this foundation is dry & hard to apply although it looks runny when first squeezed out. 'Dry' means it dries up quickly and I need to work fast to spread it over before it becomes dry patches on my face. Well, it seems a common problem for many organic foundations. Before, I also tried Suki (much expensive than this one) and Ecco Bella. In colourwise, Pure Buff does nothing to change my original skin tone and not even enhance me a dewier look. I am Chinese with fair yellow to neutral understone. I also have Logona Natural Finish Foundation. The texture and scent of which is much cremy and softer than this one but that 02 couour is very much a pink tone but not fair enough for fair skin girls. It might rub off in the middle of the day or when skin becomes oily, perhaps it contains no silicone. The hunt for my HG still continues. Erinmom, Hong Kong
Bought this foundation based on other peoples reviews. Really wanted to like it due to it been expensive & natural. I bought the lightest shade. I found the product hard to apply (I have dry skin) at times it felt like I was dragging my skin to get it to blend. If you do not blend it correctly it will leave orange marks on your face. Also you cannot apply a second coat as again it will go orange. Does not cover blackheads, scars or open pored. Also does not cover dark circles. Overall I found this product useless as it did not do anything a foundation is suppose to do. Rather annoyed I wasted my money on this! Nikki, Sheffield
This makeup makes you beautiful!
People are always commenting on how good my skin looks since I started wearing this foundation. I have really dark rings round my eyes which it manages to cover but it allows the rest of my unblemished skin to shine through. I always use an organic fake tan too.
Good: It feels so light & allows your face to breath. Bad: As a result a small amount of its staying capacity is lost compared to chemical filled makeups. Charlotte, Cheshire
Not for me
I bought it as the reviews are so positive but it doesn't work for me, gave me a very pasty looking aspect. Kate, Belgium
Not for blemished skin
I had high hopes after reading all the excellent reviews, however was a little disapointed with this product. Good Points: Blends well, organic/natural ingredients.
Bad points: Doesn't provide good coverage for blemished skin. If you have non blemished skin then I would say this foundation would be perfect, however I was having to use other foundations & concealer over the top, which defeated the purpose of buying this in the first place. Works really good
Great coverage that lasts effectively up to 10h. I bought the Pure Buff tone which is a bit lighter than expected but still I'm very satisfied. Ivana Boskov, Belgrade
Great for oily skin
Once I applied it for the first time I felt like without any make up, totally different to any foundation have used before. It keeps yous skin more matt. Gives yo natural look instead of mask. I love it. It lasts for ages. I wear foundation every day & I had it for over 2 months. Kessi, Newcaste
After buying Lavera foundation & being disappointed because I found it drying, thin and not lasting all day, I decided to try the living nature in honey. It actually does what most foundations claim and even out skin tone when often they don't! It is buildable but I put on with a brush thinly because I found that is all is needed. It does last all day and I work in a hot kitchen with steam to. The only thing I have found with most chemical free foundations is that the colours are limited in the darker colours which I would need in the summer when having a little bit of a tan. However, at this time of the year the honey is perfect. Would recommend! Just ordered the mascara, hope that is good. Sue , Essex
Good product for a reasonable price
I bought the Living Nature Foundation together with Vapour's 'Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation' when looking for a new natural foundation for sensitive skin. Shade: 'pure buff' for this. '110' for Vapour. I have to say, the Vapour foundation wins, hands down! But this is an okay alternative; it's sort of the Volvo or Toyota to Vapour's Rolls Royce. The fairest shade still has a bit of murkiness to it - & as another reviewer wrote, I also blend in some Luzern Lotion to lighten it up a bit and get more moisture in. If you can get a fitting shade, then this is a fairly decent foundation at a decent price. It does best/looks best at one application. Hasn't irritated my sensitive skin (but read the ingredients' list in case of allergies!). It has a medium coverage at one application. You need to shake the bottle like your life depends on it =) before using. But hey - if this is your first outing into natural foundations, you've got sensitive skin and you'd rather not spend too much on trying out a new label; then I'd definitely recommend trying this out! It's one of the few good ones out there.
I received this foundation last week after two weeks of hesitation which color to choose. I even emailed to Living Nature, but unfortunately I was left without an answer. Anyways, at first this foundation felt almost as liquid as milk, but by now I got used to it. It covers very well, very buildable & stays on the whole day. I used Zuii before which was very thick and now looking back it wasn't lasting as long as this one. ( My zuii color was natural fair, and ordered Sand which is a light shade and blends easily with my skintone. Bori , Budapest, Hungary
Love this foundation!
I really like this foundation. It goes on smooth & lasts all day. I do agree that the colours are a bit dark though. I have it in the colour "pure taupe" which is supposed to fit people with fair skin, which I have. But it's too dark. But I just mix it with a light moisturizer, then it's a perfect match for my skin. Johanna, Sweden
Never found anything like this
tHE Living Nature Foundation creates second skin, it absorbs immediately, stays matt whole day & hydrating in the same time. I had dehydrated skin, I bought the Living Nature Extra Hydrating gel and Flax serum which I also would recommend as they work well together. Covers very well even breakouts. You must try! Joanna, London
I love theLiving Nature Foundation! Very light....natural effect, but covers very well...gives a breutiful glow..skin looks like from a cover magazine;) Olalu, london
The best friend to your skin
I was amazed at the staying power & the fact my skin didn't feel it had makeup on. Top marks for comfort factor and a beautiful (non shiny) finish to my skin. The fact my muslin cleansing cloth had to take this off at night proved tough even though I used a very small amount it lasted! Personally I rate this Living Nature foundation highly. Beverley S., Belfast
Soft, fresh & natural skin
After application my skin felt very soft & fresh. I finished it off with a sweeping of mineral powder and asked my friend for her honest opinion. She said that she hadn't initially noticed that I was wearing foundation but on a closer inspection my skin looked very natural. The shade of 'pure taupe' (a light shade with light pink base tones) was perfect for my fair skin. I have also been using the Living Nature eye-makeup remover for years, fabulous for sensitive eyes. Nicky B., London
When i first used the Living Nature foundation i was dissapointed due to the shade being the wrong one for my skin but the foundation does offer good coverage makes your skin look lovely & dewy covers all the little black dots on my nose worth a try! makes skin look really healthy and i have quite dull spotty marked skin; love it, just wish i could find my shade. anon, anon
It gave me a very natural look
This was my first experience with a natural foundation so I was really impressed at the full to medium coverage. I had expected natural foundations to be a bit wishy-washy - not so! The shade that I used (Pure Sand) was a perfect match for my medium-fair skin tone although Living Nature offer a good selection of similar shades if you prefer to buy two colours & mix your own through the seasons.
