The Nue Co was founded by British-born Jules Miller who had struggled with painful IBS and found that various treatments and therapies had proved ineffective. In fact, unknowingly to her, many of the supplements she had been taking contained bulking agents, fillers, flavourings and other unnecessary ingredients that added no value, and were instead frequently exacerbating her symptoms. Feeling misled and confused by the supplement and wellness industry, Miller sought to educate and empower herself to create a simple, high-quality, results-oriented solution. Something that would work not just for her, but a new approach to wellness in general.
