Soapwalla is guided by the principle that we should not put anything on our bodies that we wouldn’t put in them. Soapwalla products are pure, effective, and trustworthy and they believe that they are only as good as the ingredients that are sourced. They are wildly passionate about what they do every day: creating goods that not only support skin health, also but our and the planet's well-being.
Soapwalla was born in Rachel Winard's NYC kitchen, after unsuccessfully searching for products that wouldn't aggravate her sensitive skin issues caused by systemic lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition that always affects the skin. They partner with small farms to ensure that the best materials are received, never compromising their integrity or dedication to the environment. Rachel visits suppliers to ensure they share Soapwalla’s value structure of respect, honor, authenticity, and transparency.
All Soapwalla products are vegan certified and do not contain any animal-derived byproducts. Soapwalla does not use ingredients that have been derived from GMOs or genetically engineered ingredients or components. Their products are created from organic and food-grade ingredients and are gluten-free. Formulation, production and distribution are performed in-house in Brooklyn, New York.
